A dark night

A dark night,
the moon is behind the clouds
the stars try to shine
like small forgotten lights.

The watch in my kitchen is ticking away
every second
closer to you.

My house is quite
children asleep in there beds.
Outside my window
the cars drive trou
the darkness.

Tomorrow is soon here,
kids in the kitchen
breakfast on the table.
Laugh,
sunshine.

Soon another day will have
gone,
soon the night is here again.
And your beutiful smile.
